WHAT HAPPENED?
Following his dismissal from Manchester United in November 2021, Solskjaer has not taken on another managerial role. Since then, he has been links to several positions, but he has been waiting for "the right job with the right people". The 51-year-old also revealed earlier this year that he would be ready to manage the Norwegian national team.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
According to Danish publication Tipsbladet, Solskjaer received an offer from Denmark – rivals of his native Norway – to take over from Kasper Hjulmand, who resigned from his position in the summer. However, a source claims that the Red Devils legend turned down additional discussions since he is currently in talks to become the head coach of a "major club".
